  • Splash!!! The Husky is the world's most sophisticated mine detention system that uses, among other, ground-penetrating radar in mine detection. It's locally built and it is widely acclaimed as best in its class. Shown here at AAD 2014.
  • A SANDF's German built MAN (Maschinenfabrik Augsburg Nuremberg) HX77 8×8 truck on the test track.
  • The Nyala Mk5E is an RG31 MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protection) vehicle. It can resist 21kg explosives under each wheel and 14kg explosives under the hull. Over 2,600 have been sold and are being used by 12 countries.
  • South African Olifant MBT on the test track just emerged from the mud bath.
  • Splash!!! The Rooikat with a 67mm gun shows its mud bath capabilities here at AAD 2014's land mobility test track.
